Great Addington Parish Council wants to say a HUGE thank you to all those who came along to The Addingtons Community Event on Saturday morning. 🙏

It was wonderful to see so many people there to listen to  the presentation about The Greenway Strategy. Our thanks go to Lucy Hawes for giving up a Saturday morning to come and talk to us.  This is an exciting opportunity for The Addingtons, and something that could greatly benefit both villages. Watch this space for updates about this!

It was also great to see so many Great Addington residents keen to engage with the site selection consultation for our Neighbourhood Plan. Whatever your views they are really important to the process, and all comments will be fed back to the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group.  For those of you who were unable to attend, or who wanted a little longer to think about their preferences, you can find information about the two site proposals on the Neighbourhood Plan page of our website.  If you want to send in your preferences/comments, please make sure they reach the Clerk by 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday 30th January. (Email: clerk@greataddingtonparishcouncil.gov.uk)  All the data collected will be reviewed by the Steering Group on Wednesday 31st January.

Finally, a massive thanks to all those who helped make it happen – those who baked and cooked to provide an amazing brunch, those who served refreshments and washed up, those who helped with tables and chairs. It was such a demonstration of community spirit. Thank you all. 🙂 😍
